Safety

SafetyIn each of the many types of work that HRI performs, there are inherent risks and dangers with serious potential for employee injury. Hazardous activities such as excavation, bridge construction, operation and maintenance of asphalt plants and heavy equipment, and even manual lifting of heavy objects require stringent policies and procedures to provide a framework for employee safety.

Every HRI employee is required to adhere to our safety policy, and they are encouraged to bring to the attention of our management team any issues that are not being properly addressed. Employees must remain alert and focused on their actions to ensure their own personal protection, as well as that of others around them. It is the responsibility of every HRI employee to see that their fellow employees return home safely to their families at the end of the day.

At HRI, safety is always considered first, and there is zero tolerance for compromised safety in the working environment. The wellbeing of employees is just as important to company management as production, schedule, quality and profit. Our most fundamental corporate goal is to operate with zero accidents or injuries.
