From its beginning more than 25 years ago as a pipeline contractor, the Utility Group of HRI, INC. now performs work in a number of heavy construction areas including water and sewer lines, pumping stations, treatment plants, mechanical contracting, and electrical construction. Recently we have diversified even further into trenchless technologies including directional drilling, horizontal boring, and pipe bursting.

We have had unequalled success at constructing some challenging stream crossings-the same way we will construct a stream intake. We have completed crossings as long as 500 feet.  We have in-house capability to construct multi-million dollar pump stations, treatment facilities, with significant mechanical components. Our Electrical Division has been successful bidding and building multiple projects in the $ 1 to 3 Million range as well.

Recently, we opened our newest office in Winchester, Va.
