Due to continued regulatory emphasis on inflow and infiltration removal, and security of pipelines, HRI, Inc. is now providing underground sewer and drain pipe video inspection services! This new technology consists of a robotic video crawler, which allows us to inspect underground pipes to identify potential and existing problems before beginning renovations. The robotic crawler can also be used to locate lines if a facility owner is not sure of where a pipeline leads. Because the cameras are small and controlled robotically, they can be cost effectively and noninvasively used to survey and inspect pipelines that would otherwise require excavation. Our camera has turn, pan, and tilt capabilities and can provide thorough inspection to ensure pipes are damage free with no obstructions. While the camera is inside a pipeline, videos are digitally recorded so that they can be analyzed and used to pinpoint problems. Upon completion of an inspection, videos can be reviewed to find and address potential damage or other issues which may exist. Our new technology can be used to identify the following problems:
Bellied Pipes
Broken Pipes
Collapsed Pipes
Corrosion
Cracked Pipes
Infiltration
Leaking Joints
Off-grade Pipes
Locate Lines
Protruding Laterals
Recessed Taps
Root Obstructions
