HOT MIX ASPHALT
Hot Mix Asphalt is a high quality, thoroughly controlled, engineered material comprised of approximately 5% asphalt and 95% aggregates (rock, gravel and sand), using asphalt cement as a binder. The asphalt is a petroleum product and the aggregates are mined and then crushed in local quarries. All of these materials are required to meet certain standards established by PennDOT and other agencies to assure that they will perform their intended functions.

All HRI, Inc. asphalt plants meet or exceed all required quality and safety standards set by local, state and federal governments, and have over 200 asphalt mix designs available.
